What is the best way to season my stainless steel griddle?

We’ve got an Imperial gas range (8 burners and a griddle). I’m wondering how other people have seasoned their stainless steel griddles. Ours just looks dirty and food sticks to it still. Thanks for any suggestions.

It doesn’t need seasoning it needs to be cleaned.
